1000 Kids’ Books Donated By An Anonymous Person To Half Moon Bay!
The kids of Half Moon Bay and Pescadero got a mid-summer surprise when an anonymous donor gifted around 1,000 gently-used kids' books. Half Moon Bay City Councilmember Marina Fraser, who was approached with these kids' books as gift two weeks ago said that "In the beginning I thought we were going to get getting 300 to 400 kids' books but was pleased to find out that they were much more in number.
She wanted to gift the kids' books right away into the hands of children so they can have a fun time summer reading. Fraser and Malley sorted the 1,000 kids' books received last Friday. These kids' books will be given away to children and their parents at the farmer's market located at Shoreline Station this Saturday, July 23.
