Pascoa Brazil Holidays

Pascoa Brazil Holidays

The Brazil holidays of Carnaval and Pascoa, or Easter, are celebrated exactly 40 days apart. In Brazil, Pascoa means only one thing: chocolate. The process of making Easter chocolates in Brazil is involved, and the products are exquisite and mouth-watering chocolate designs that you simply cannot find anywhere else.

At one of the many specialty chocolate shops in the country you are likely to find guards at the doors and multiple warning signs calling for orderly entry and exit, which show you just how seriously Brazilians take their chocolate at this time of year. Inside the stores, the sheer number of chocolates are impressive. There are enormous chocolate eggs that are well over 1 pound each, gift baskets with a large variety of chocolates, chocolate mousse, and large ceramic hens containing wrapped chocolates.
